Dance KingsSometimes, all you need is a dream . . . and a best mate. Nick and Jack are two average, Aussie blokes. They go to school. They are starting to date girls. They are champion rugby players, and oh yeah, they dance. These thirteen year olds are talented athletes who hand their school the first winning rugby season in 15 years. They also happen to be talented dancers. It takes real, strong men, with real heart to dance in the midst of early teenage angst. They have a high-energy male dance coach to guide them with motivational speeches, but he has a dark side he hides from the boys. The boys have the talent and confidence to carry off this challenge despite the barbs of their arch-enemy, Rocko. It doesn’t hurt that as dancers, Nick and Jack are constantly surrounded by talented and beautiful girls, which bothers Rocko to no end. People genuinely like Nick. He’s a talented kid with more personality than ten people put together. Everything comes easily to him - except maybe talking to that girl he likes. Nick skates through life on his charm with his best mate, Jack, by his side. Jack is bright, witty and loyal. He’s happy to have his more out-going best mate by his side. A world tour of talented musicians, artists and dancers gives Jack a chance to realize his dreams. Through hard work, dedication and talent, Jack makes it to the finals, only to find himself with a black eye, his dance partner in this hospital and an All City Rugby Final the same day. When all seems lost, there is one person he can turn to – his best mate Nick. After all, that’s what best mates are for. |
